There’s no consistent or accurate system for reporting individuals who have worked or participated in the creation of a published sound recording.  In the Film industry, every person gets credited.  We need a more reliable way to report who has worked on what, and make sure it gets published.  Without credits, it’s hard to make claims or verify someone has worked on a song or project. Some of us are interns and work pro bono, credit is extremely important to us.  
I hope this petition reaches the core of the Recording Industry, so that we may demonstrate how overlooked, and how unfair it is.  I propose a collective effort to brainstorm ideas of how we may streamline this process and make it more effective and accurate, wether it be through mandatory documentation, a new app, or simply following the Film industry’s lead.  
Schooling to work in this industry is extremely pricey compared to what is made in the field, so proper crediting is only just.
I’m tired of seeing people who’ve worked hard, gave their best, all to not be credited on a project that has the potential to reach millions of people.  It’s not fair. It stops now.  
Sign the petition and let’s make a noise they cannot ignore.
