Dear family & friends, Our family enjoyed Easter weekend with a bunch of boys hanging out at the house and enjoying a big breakfast prepared by Kirsten. Kayne felt good and spent the night with all the boys at a friends house on Saturday night. On Sunday, the day was spent with family and it was a great day. Kayne has been battling a headache since late last week and the UF and UC medical teams have been working to help Kayne relieve his headache. Today, Kayne and Kirsten were going to get their nails done and then we were all going to Senior Night at Spruce Creek High School and watch Kayne and his volleyball team. Unfortunately, Kayne had a fever when he awoke this morning and was not feeling well. Kirsten spoke with the UC Oncology team and it was requested we take Kayne to see the UF team in Gainesville, FL. Kayne did not feel well and he felt there was no way he could make the volleyball game. At this time, Kirsten and Kayne are on their way to Shand's Children's Hospital to see the oncologist. You know have the latest information I have as of 3pm. I am prepared to head over if need be. I am supposed to be dropping Kirsten and Kayne off at the Orlando airport tomorrow for Kayne's University of Cincinnati Oncology appointment. He is scheduled for a MRI Thursday. As of right now, we hope and pray this will still be the case. We did pack clothing and are prepared to make additional changes should the need arrive. Please pray for Kayne's pain and sick feeling to subside. His eye which will not close is a huge problem so prayers for that as well. I will update again before bed with the details of where we stand with this sudden episode. -Curtis PS. On a humorous side, I can tell Keagan is coming home for the summer as it took me from 7am till 7pm to do 1 weeks worth of laundry. Thanks Keagan!! I still love you!
