A haircut at home...

No, Kirsten and I didn't cut his hair. A friend, Mattie Harborson came to our house and cut Kayne's hair for him. We thank you so much for your time and generosity! Kayne had an interview project about his illness today as well. We will post more about where to see the interview on Facebook once we know all the details. Be sure to pick up Sunday's Daytona Beach News Journal. Kayne's story and #cannonballsforkayne will be featured this Sunday. Kayne did good today with food. The steroid he is on makes him extremely hungry so he has to make sure not to eat too fast or too much at one time. We are making him several small snacks and meals throughout the day. He did not get sick and that is a BLESSING! He is still weak and his balance remains off so his time on his feet is very limited. I was able to help him in the shower. We both had swim trunks on and Kayne had a pair of swim goggles to help protect his eye that will not close. Bottom line is we got the boy clean! Thanks for keeping our family in our prayers and keeping up with him daily. We know it takes time out of your busy lives to do this, but please know we love and appreciate all of you!
