SAY NO TO DISCRIMINATION

Atlanta, GA, United States
Created February 22, 2016

The Issue

This license to discriminate bill passed easily Friday, by a vote of 38-14. And this week, it goes to the House, where an earlier version of the measure sailed through. And even though there’s been no official declaration by the Republican governor, it’s likely Nathan Deal will sign it into law. The state of Georgia needs to move forward and grow. This will cause the state many problems.

HB757 goes far beyond protecting the right to practice one’s religion and would instead put LGBT people couples, single parents, and unmarried couples at risk for discrimination.
