Charley English failed to lead the State of Georiga's emergency response to the snow storm of 2014. The National Weather Service put the entire Atlanta metro area under a winter storm warning at 3:38 a.m. Tuesday. The agency warned of 1 to 2 inches of snow accumulation and said it would begin "as early as mid-morning and last into tonight." Mr. English did not inform the Governor until 9:30am, 6 and a half hours later.

The GEMA's emergency operations center was only partially operational by 3 p.m. on Tuesday and when asked by reporters, Mr. English denied the roadways were heavily gridlocked at 3pm in the afternoon!

This is not the type of leadership Georgia needs or deserves. How will this agency handle a serious natural or man-made disaster in the future with this lack of leadership?

Millions of Georgian's lives are in their hands. We need leaders who can lead and not make excuses!
