UPDATE:
A South African Government Official will today arrive in Nassau Bahamas to be with the family members of Nobuhle as they continue to fight for the repatriation of her body. It is unfortunate that they are dealing with a Government that has no morals and no respect for other Countries officials and culture, as they have sent written communication to the South African officials in Jamaica claiming that the family had agreed for the Body to cremated and that members of the family have been sent for counseling by their department of health yet the family hasn't even seen/identified the body. We would like to put it on record that the family has not agreed to such and will not agree to such, as their priority it to get Buhle back home. Having noticed that there are many under hand tactics being applied by the Nassua Government, a South African official will be in Nassau as soon as possible. One of the many reasons that they have used in refusal to release the body is that the countries they have relations with will not accept the body to pass through their borders as they suddenly claim that it is infectious. The South African Government has deemed this an urgent matter and have since undergone their own negotiations with countries that have a working relationship with the country to find a way to have Buhle transported home. We welcome these positive news in our quest to see the Bhengu family get the closure they need and deserve. Thank you to everyone who has continued to share this story and to those who quickly chipped in with the aim to assist, all efforts are welcome. We hope and pray that this matter will be resolved soon, we will continue to support and pray for the Bhengu family till this ordeal is over.
