Financial mismanagement of Nash-Rocky Mount Public Schools, creating a hostile work environment.

Dr. Jefferies has failed at his task of properly managing the NRMS system. Teachers tell of intimidation, bullying, and being threatened with their jobs regularly. Test scores are down and our school system is in financial chaos. Dr. Jefferies refuses to admit responsibility and instead chooses to ask others to take responsibility for his inability to do his own job.

I started this petition because...
I am a graduate of Nash County Schools, I am a parent of children who attended Nash-Rocky Mount Schools. I have seen our school system thrive as a model of success that the rest of NC envied - and I have watched it be torn apart by a rogue administrator who claims he is in charge and does not answer to any school board. Our teacher moral is at an all-time low and our system is shrinking. It's time to cut out the entire upper management team and start over. Tell the NRMS Board of Education that it is time for them to do the right thing for our children and send this guy and his overpaid cronies packing.
