Meghna Sarin started this petition to Narendra Modi and

This is a painful moment for our country and citizens. In past few weeks there have been so many horrifying incidents of rapes with our women all over India. Sometime it's a small town or district, where as at other times it's some metro but the fact remains the same that innocent girls are firstly raped by a gang and then ruthlessly murdered and even burnt which happens to be a new inhuman action.

Being a woman several questions cross my mind every time this happens,
Till what time we the women have to face this ugly action? Are we supposed to sit at home so as to avoid all this? We are wrong if we send are sisters, wives, daughters out to study or for a job? What kind of security our legal system is providing to our women.
I think we need some radical changes in our system. Such strict and prompt actions must be taken against these devils in public so that looking at the kind of punishment they get, is actually a stopping force for other such criminals.
This is my sincere appeal to our respected prime minister Shri Narendra Modi ji on behalf of all the women and girls of our country to take very strict actions against these rapists and murderers. Just hanging them or shooting them to death is not enough, it's a very small punishment to what they have done. They must be sentenced to slow and painful death. They must experience the amount of trauma, pain, horror they have caused or given to the victim. And most importantly every thing must be done publically so that the rest get a strong message that they are basically committing suicide if they plan to do any such thing.
This is the critical need of the hour that There must a completely separate courts to handle such cases who can give prompt decision. So that the victim and her family gets immediate justice and a very clear and loud message is put across that this won't be taken any more.
