Due to the corona virus pandemic, the country of Morocco recently closed its borders and airspace with no grace period or warning to allow travelers to return home. France, Italy, Russia, UK, USA and other countries immediately jumped into action to send planes to repatriate their citizens. 

Currently 3 Indian citizens are held up at Casablanca airport for more than a week with no solution in sight. They were on their way back from Liberia with a layover in Casablanca. Upon landing in Casablanca, Etihad Airways notified them that they wont be flying further route as per directions from Moroccan government. Morocco is under lock down and they have no possibility to step outside the airport or fly back to India. Indian Embassy in Morocco has been helping with food and supplies, however there is no concrete solution to return to India in the foreseeable future. 

My uncle Dr. Anil R. Kulkarni is one of the three stranded citizens. If you're scared at home right now, imagine how scary it must be to be stranded at an airport in foreign land, with no idea of when you can return home.

Please sign this petition to encourage Indian Ministry of External Affairs , Prime Minister's office to step in and take measures to repatriate the citizens.
