Subject: Detrimental resolutions by State Wildlife advisory board regarding Gir Wildlife Sanctuary.

  Respected sir,
 
  As per The Indian Express daily front line news dated 2.1.2022( Ahmedabad edition), Government of Gujarat is planning to give permission for 26 mobile towers in Gir wildlife sanctuary. It is our humble request not to compromise  Gir,  the only fragile complete eco system of South West Asia, for any commercial or other purposes that endanger the wildlife.  Gir sanctuary staff is fully equipped with sufficient wireless and walkie- talkie handsets..no  extra communication establishment is needed.
  These towers  will disturb the sanctuary to a great extent and cause irrepairable and  irreplaceable loss to Nature. Once the flora and fauna are lost they are  lost forever..So these so called developmental activities are at a terrible cost of rare wildlife.
 
  Gir Sanctuary is in bad need of sufficient staff  at all the levels..it needs staff not towers to protect it.
  Our request is ... stop these anti wildlife activities taking place in Gir.
