Eliminate the usage of silver coating in sweets

Eliminate the usage of silver coating in sweets
The Issue
I was shocked to learn that varakh used in the sweets is processed with the help of intestines of cattle. Silver block is placed in the middle of these intestines and flatten out. Aluminium is used in substitute of silver which is hazardous to health. If observed under a microscope traces of blood, stools and saliva may also be found. These silver topped sweets are bought by people for various religious occasions and even served as prasad. People who shy away from egg, consume beef unknowingly.
Therefore, i strongly believe that all sweets shops across the country should use brown symbol on the packaging of silver coated sweets in order to aware people of what they are consuming. A substitute of silver foil like kesar can also be used. I am pretty sure that people would not prefer this dubious ultra thin layer of silver on the sweet and get innocent animals slaughtered.
