Great threat of community spread of COVID 19 after completion of quarantine period. Surely authorities should not keep such a large group of students at one place and minimize the risk.

We hereby request you to order the evacuation of 500 students of the Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad (IHMA). They were quarantined from March 13 to March 27, 2020 after a professor in college, who returned from Russia and was tested COVID 19 positive. The children deserve to be back home safe in their cities of residence.

The Institute is keeping the children in their hostel even after completion of quarantine period and this raises a serious threat to their safety. With Maharashtra becoming the epicenter of COVID 19 in India, seriousness of community transfer should be looked into. While most organizational set ups, schools and colleges pan India have been closed to prevent the spread and all children including IHMA would have been safely home after the timely announcement of the Government way before national lockdown, students and their 500 families are under tremendous emotional turmoil in the scare of this deadly virus.

We as parents of IHMA students plea to our Honourable Prime Minister and others to ensure safe evacuation of our children as thousands of citizens have been safely made to reach their homes with the coordinated efforts of State and Central Governments of India.

Please sign our petition to make our voices heard for the safety of our children and society at large.
