The Issue
The road mentioned above connects College Road to Podumoni, Sub Division: Dhansiri, District: Golaghat, Assam, Railway Division: Lumding(NEFR)
The road connects various renowned educational institutes of the locality Sarupathar College, Dayanand Vidya Niketan, Don Bosco, Sarupathar Girls' College on one side and Sarupathar 30bedded rural hospital on the other end. Daily 1500(approximately)students and 2000 local people cross the track which has even caused deaths in the past.
The road will also serve economic purposes for development of the locality. It will also benefit the patients to reach the hospital at the earliest.
