The Bauer Road Community for Responsible Development, or BRCRD, is a group of Naperville citizens in favor of responsible development in the Bauer Road corridor on the Northeast side of Naperville. We are in favor of development which promotes growth in the area, while maintaining the essential character of the existing community.

Oak Creek Capital Partners have asked the Naperville Planning and Zoning Commission to approve a zoning change to multi family and build 24 town homes on only 3 acres.  Making this the most dense family development in Naperville.  

We want Bauer Rd. to stay single family as it is currently zoned.  Some facts to consider:

• The 1998 Naperville Master Plan calls for these  lots to remain single family
• The 2008 Ogden Ave. Corridor Enhancement plan calls for these lots to remain single family
• Bauer Rd. has ZERO multi family between East and Mill so this development is inconsistent
• Bauer, Vest, and Kennebec are defined as neighborhood connector roads.  The intersection of Bauer and Charles is defined as local streets - none of these roads will be able to handle the increased traffic load
• Traffic will increase on Iroquois, Columbia, Loomis, and Bauer in front of Jefferson Jr High School.
