The cross walk on 2299 soscol Avenue is a saftey hazard for pedestrians.  Vehicles do not stop, let alone see a pedestrian trying to cross the street. On coming vehicles going 60 mph or more can not see a pedestrian crossing if other vehicles have stopped. Every morning I watch school age children trying to cross the street to go to school and almost get hit by on coming vehicles. Something needs to change before a child or adult is hit by a vehicle. 

I have almost been hit two days in a row trying to walk my child to school. 

I'm asking the city of Napa , City of napa maintenance division to install a flashing crosswalk.
