LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - An Upstate representative intends to name a roadway after Charlie Kirk.

Representative Luke Rankin of Laurens County posted to X on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. that he is committed to working with Laurens County and Laurens City officials to advance the initiative.

Rankin said that while there is no definitive timetable, he has reached out to city and county officials to begin discussions and feedback has been positive. He also said that other members of the Laurens County delegation are eager to help bring this to fruition.
