The Guinness World Record is about to be broken by Chef Maliha Mohammed!

This petition calls upon all Kenyans to rally behind the incredible talent and determination of Chef Maliha Mohammed, a Mombasa-based Kenyan chef who made history in 2019 by cooking for over 75 hours straight. Chef Maliha, despite her previous attempt not receiving official recognition from the Guinness World Records, is preparing to break the record recently set by Nigerian Chef Hilda Baci.

In her remarkable 75-hour 'cook-a-thon,' Chef Maliha showcased her culinary expertise by preparing 400 mouthwatering dishes, including traditional Swahili delicacies and diverse international cuisines. Her dedication and passion for cooking are unparalleled.

Now, Chef Maliha is embarking on a new challenge. She has submitted an application to attempt to break the record in 2023, aiming to achieve two titles: the 'Longest Cooking by an Individual Marathon' and the 'Home Kitchen Cooking Marathon.' These incredible feats are scheduled for August 11 and October 11, respectively.

To prepare for these arduous cooking marathons, Chef Maliha has committed to a rigorous training schedule spanning May, June, and July. She is determined to push her limits and bring pride to our nation.
