Please take time to read about a special use permit on Naked Creek Road that is under review of the Rockingham County Board of Supervisors. 

This permit is for an event center and recreational building or entertainment for indoor/outdoor use. 

The White Barn has already been in use for several years to host parties, bands, and events but now The Huggins are trying to make this BIGGER and open to the public for use. 

What this means for the neighborhood:

Increase in traffic on windy, narrow roads.
Increase in motor vehicle accidents.
Live music/bands all hours of the day & into the night.
Serving alcohol on property (already has been in effect for past events via a mobile bartending service). 
Increase of possible drunk driving. 
The use of fireworks in a neighborhood with children, pets, and livestock. 
Increase tourists & out of staters 

These are just a few of the concerns that neighbors have and have witnessed the last 3 years with past events at this property. 

If you want to keep this area for agriculture purposes, safe, and quiet then please consider signing the petition OPPOSING the special use permit for “WHITE BARN GROUP LLC Event Center & Recreational or Entertainment Outside a Building, & Recreational or Entertainment Inside a Building”
