We are aware that NCC Pound has been full with largely owner-surrendered or seized pet dogs (not strays or police cases but many lovely breeds and types), since mid 2019, funds have been raised by well meaning groups to provide food and blankets for these dogs.

Standard media covered the fact that they were starving for lack of proper resources and funding to the Pound in Sep 2019.

The general public have poured out their concern about this, offering help and support, begging to adopt these dogs, since then the Pound Staff themselves have been stellar in their efforts to keep these dogs healthy and should be celebrated, none of this issue is of their making.
Presently the powers in charge of the pound will not consider donating the dogs to KSPCA or offering adoptions, despite the stated willingness of KSPCA and individual adopters to take them, and have decided they are all to be euthanized.

Our main focus is to get agreement to allow adoptions.

Please assist in raising awareness to the plight of these dogs.
