Nacho...4 years ago at 1am I raced you to the vets.. your drugs didnt do what was needed,  the fireworks next door sent you into a panic which aggrivated your paralytic esophagus to the point where you were suffocating.. all I could think of on the car ride there was please don't die, please don't die, and when we got there unfortunately there was nothing the doctors could do and I had to say goodbye.

I really wish they would do away with the sounds of fireworks and make it illegal to have them with sound.  

So many animals have passed away because of it. Great amazing animals like you, and my heart hurts when the 4th of July is upon us because I know the damage it causes. I immediately think of you and my heart just breaks again and again and again.  

As humans, we can only do so much but how things affect one another may not be the same as somebody else, and they don't think about how it can affect somebody, especially veterans, wildlife, and just your regular household pets.  

I was watching a video earlier of a horse that went into seizures because of a firecracker and things that went boom boom and although they were able to stabilize him unfortunately three days later he went into a series of seizures that they were required to put him down.  It broke me to think that horse suffered because their neighbors thought it ok to set off fireworks near them. 

Please ...if I can do anything, if we can do anything, to stop this I would like to start this petition for Nacho's Law.  Just because its NACHO pet, NACHO problem, NACHO concern,  doesnt mean you arent harming or killing it!!

Other countries have silent fireworks..why cant we?
