It's 2020 and Black men and women across our country STILL face prejudice against their NATURAL hair and the protective styles they use. Told It's unclean, unkept, and unprofessional. In most states, including Oregon, hair discrimination is STILL LEGAL. A bill (https://olis.oregonlegislature.gov/liz/2020R1/Downloads/MeasureAnalysisDocument/53341 has been proposed and we have a chance to do something about it. As we take strides against our justice system let's also take strides in reforming the society we live in. We have seen the power we have and the differences we can make when we come together for change, so let's start and get stuff done!
