Russia collusion probe (Crossfire Hurricane): The Durham Report (2023, with a newly declassified 2025 appendix) explicitly detailed how the Clinton campaign funded and pushed the Steele dossier to tie Trump to Russia. The FBI opened a full investigation on "raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence" while ignoring exculpatory info and applying a softer standard to Clinton-related concerns. Durham highlighted "confirmation bias" and the FBI's failure to properly vet Clinton campaign-linked intel. No Trump-Russia conspiracy was found by Mueller, and the whole thing fueled years of scandal coverage.
