We demand that Justice prevail. My son was sentenced to life in prison by a  rigged jury that was assembled by the  Brazoria County District Clerk, who recently resigned. My name is Darrell Adell, Sr. and my 32 year old son Darrell Anthony Adell Jr. was convicted on August 4, 2021 and sentenced on Aug. 5, 2021 to Life in Prision for a murder he did not commit by an all white- all male jury in Brazoria County TX.in less than 2.5hrs.  During the 3 week trial the prosecutors submitted 399 pieces of evidence that literally cleared him. All of the forensic DNA Evidence excluded him (Semen in her vagina, Semen in her mouth, Male DNA, skin cells, blood). My son Darrell Anthony Adell, Jr. was EXCLUDED from every forensic test as a suspect. The GPS, GeoFencing & Google mapping all determined my son, his phone and his vehicle were nowhere near the home where the murder occured. Further, the forensic analysis of his laptop determined he was at his home ordering concert tickets at the time of the murder.  The Prosecution presented blood stained panties as key evidence to the Grand Jury "As Relevant" when they already knew the panties  were previously tested for DNA and they were also irrelevant. The prosecutors malicously presented the panties as pertinent evidence knowing they were not associated with the case. An eyewitness who testified under oath to the grand jury about seeing my son's vehicle at the home at the time of the murder, later admitted she lied but was not held in contempt.  I am requesting an immediate DOJ investigation into this ENTIRE matter. Since my son's trial, the entire judicial system in Brazoria County is under investigation and is being called into question for what is being called "the worst case of jury tampering in the history of the United States" dating back to 2010. The District Clerk has since resigned and later retired for rigging the Juries against minorities & democrates (striking entire zipcodes). Several other employees have also been fired, resigned or suspended. My family along with many others, have been adversely affected by the actions of the Brazoria County Judicial System, the District Clerk and everyone in her office, which may include judges and attorneys (according to her lawyer). My son is sitting in prison, facing a life sentence for a crime he did not commit, if you do not step in and order that the law should rule.  He is a good son, a good man and a great father. To date, He has earned 3 college degrees and was scheduled to graduate the following week of his sentencing with his 4th college degree. My wife and I are asking that you demand that the DOJ take over the investigation. The malicious prosecution of the DA's office was fortified by a rigged jury who was pre-selected by the Brazoria County district clerk. Their collusion sentenced him to life in prison ( with no evidence) of which  he does not deserve. Due to the massive jury tampering scandal in Brazoria County and the assembling of rigged juries,  we demand that his case be overturned and he be released immediately and his record be expunged. He deserves to be home with his family and not in a prison cell for a crime he did not commit.
