My heart is aching, again. Over the weekend, another young life was lost at a music festival. Glen Mcrae was just 24-years-old. He was a Victorian boy, attending a NSW festival. My deepest, and most sincere condolences to his entire family.

Already, Gladys Berejiklian has come out to defend her opposition to pill testing. When will she start listening to experts?

Can you contact the NSW Premier and ask her to soften her stance on pill testing?

I pray that this will be the first and last death at a music festival this summer. We cannot go through what we went through last year. My heart goes out to Glen Mcrae's family. He was a Victorian young man, like my Daniel. And like other young people lost at music festivals, he travelled across state lines to attend this festival. This is a national issue, yet NSW and Victorian premiers have their heads in the sand.

The NSW Premier refuses to budge on her anti-pill testing stance. Meanwhile, we have just learned that NSW Police illegally strip-searched at least 25 children at a Sydney music festival this year. Only five teenagers police strip-searched had a parent or guardian present, despite it being required by law.

Ms Berejiklian, I ask you: is this normal? Is this how you want to handle this issue?

Friends, can you send a message to the NSW Premier right now?

You can use this message template:

Hello, I'm contacting the NSW Premier to express my concern about her stance on festival safety and harm minimisation. After another tragic death this weekend, and the news of 25 illegal strip searches of young people, I think it is time Premier Berejiklian listen to experts and soften her stance on pill testing and other necessary safety measures. Thank you.

Vale, Glen Mcrae.

Never giving up,
Adriana
