Hi everyone,

Some promising news - my case has been referred to the Immigration Minister and is now being investigated under the new health laws! 

Billy and I aren’t guaranteed safety yet, but this is a big step in the right direction. One of my specialists garnered support among various professors in Sydney and Melbourne. They collectively wrote a letter to to an MP, who is also a medical researcher. They personally shared my case with David Coleman. Two days later, I received notification from the Ministerial intervention Unit that my case has been referred to the Minister. 

I am in contact with the department now and have my fingers crossed for a positive outcome soon.

I am overwhelmed with the kindness and empathy of so many strangers because of whom Billy and I may now be able to continue calling Australia our home. Should we receive an intervention, you will all be the first to know.
