Hi everyone, you may not know me but I’m Krista. I’ll be turning 17 this year. My parents have been super strict about social media, to the point of not allowing me to have an Instagram until August 2019.

My case now is to get them to let me have a Snapchat. Amongst my peers, Snapchat tends to be the most common form of communication. I can be quite anxious when it comes to meeting new people, and frankly not having a Snapchat makes it even more difficult to form and maintain friendships.

I hope this petition sways my parents, or at least makes them pity me enough to cave. I’m not the type of person to use Snapchat for any malicious or inappropriate purpose, I just want to be able to make friends.
