I want to change the issue of not having safety restraints  (seat belts) while in a police paddy wagon. It is unsafe and everyone deserves to be safely secured when riding in one. Animals have to be be restrained at all times when travelling in a vehicle. Where are our rights? I have personally experienced this . I have a spinal injury ,also damage to my paraspinal muscles, which is what I had to use to stop from being thrown all over the cabin. Not at all pleasant and very painful to my injuries. This was and still is very traumatic for me. I can only imagine how many others have felt the same way. This is important to me and will persist where needed. It goes against everyone's  human rights and should be addressed. Please sign this petition . WE DESERVE THIS.

Why has this issue not been addressed already or been raised in our community? We are put in a position where our safety is of great concern. This method has no place in society. Our physical welfare is being threatened by this uncaring government or whoever makes these rules. Innocent or guilty. I had no idea this was in practice until I was arrested (wrongfully) But that's another story that I won't go into. Stand up for our right to be protected when travelling in paddy wagons. Thank you.
