My Body, My Choice, My Right!

The Issue

June 24th 2022, The Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113(1973). On this day woman and children of all ages in America lost a right to make decisions for their bodies and about their bodies. Many women will now face harsher realities and face harder struggles with out the essential rights to a safe abortion clinic. Abortion is healthcare, healthcare is essential.

A women's body is factually needed for a fetus to be able to grow and be homed in the womb to term. Then that fetus will then be considered a baby after birth. The fetus before birth has no imminent response to pain till the gestational period of approx 28 weeks (Third trimester) in the womb. All women bearing unborn children have the right to decide what is best for them since a fetus can not live without their host(mother). We as women are not incubators! Our lives are not less important.

Removing our right is only the beginning of all the horrid things to come which and will include; Maternal deaths, Suicide, Increase in SV, Increase in RRP, Increase forced pregnancies, Increase in poverty, Increase in foster children, not to mention medically necessary abortions such as; ectopic pregnancies, placenta abruption, etc, or health issues such as; autoimmune disorders, clotting disorders, heart issues, lung issues, organ failure of some kind, cancer patients, mental health disorders, etc. or what about other communities around us such as; the trans community, etc.

Doctors, nurses and families being forced to watch women or innocent children suffer all due to the merciless laws being enforced. Banning abortion making us women fear for ourselves, our children and the future. Let’s not let our State(NC) fall to the same circumstances.

What they do not understand is that It’s not about women being murderous. It’s not about the fetuses we may bear one day. This is bigger! This is a woman’s right to decide what is rightfully best for them in a safe environment, at a safe place getting a safe procedure done. We as women need to stand together and let our voices be heard.

So many situations that might involve an abortion and we as whole should not be ashamed of this. Sign this petition to make a change in the world and to keep NC Legal.

Governor Roy Cooper, for the sake of our women and children in this state and for fellow women and children outside this state, hear our plea; “ My body, My choice, My right”. Abortion is healthcare, healthcare is essential. Now answer this, what would you do if this was, or is affecting your loved one(s)? With the many real situations that can occur, what would you do?
