I start by bringing forward the story of "Tani Olohun", a popular facebook blogger/youtuber whose blogs attracts people from all walks of life. Tani Olohun was born "Abdul-Azeez"......he was a muslim until he converted to (Isese) Yoruba traditional religion out of frustration from islamic fanatics and extremists who saw him as an antagonist for preaching love and propagating Isese (Yoruba traditional Religion). Tani Olohun became a headache for the muslim community in Yoruba land, especially in a town called "Ilorin"; a town that originally belonged to the Yorubas and was forcefully taken over by muslim terrorists from the North. According to Yoruba historians, the descendants of those terrorists now occupy the land and the Yorubas who were the original owners of the land are more or less foreigners in their fatherland as I write. The story of Ilorin is a story for another day, but I encourage you to read Sir Ahmadu Bello's Autobiography titled "My Life". In page 17 of the said book, Ahmadu Bello talked about the ownership of Ilorin, that "A certain Yoruba man called Afonja once reigned over Ilorin which belongs to the Yorubas......". 

Aggressive Suppression of Traditional Worshippers "Isese" in Southwest Nigeria by Muslim fanatics from Ilorin and the Compromise of the Nigerian Police Force

On Wednesday August 16th, 2023 Tani Olohun who lives in Ibadan left his home to meet with a supposed graphic designer within Ibadan which turned out to be a bait. Unknowingly to the victim, those who would eventually kidnap him were laying siege for him to arrive. He was subsequently kidnapped in Ibadan Nigeria, only to resurface in Ilorin - approximately 110miles away!

While his loved ones were running helter-skelter, a terrorist from Ilorin named Yahayah Gambari went online to release a statement that they (the muslims in Ilorin) were behind his kidnap. This is a common strategy terrorists use after they have their victim. Although he didn't ask for a ransom, he however revealed that they were working in collaboration with Nigerian Police Force to perpetrate the ugly incident.

Shortly after that, another short video was posted online with Islamic fanatics in their hundreds seated in a space that appeared to be a magistrate court wherein we saw the victim in shackles, he appeared as if he had been manhandled/or beaten. Tani Olohun was humiliated; his shoes was confiscated and he was made to sit on bare floor as dirty as it appears, while the onlookers sat comfortably on the chairs. Towards the end of the video, Tani Olohun was whisked away in a waiting van while the crowd chanted "Allahu Akbar". 

Charges & Allegations:

Tani Olohun is alleged to have committed 'Defamation of Character' which is a civil matter. It is also important to note that the court in Ilorin has no legal jurisdiction over the case since Tani Olohun domiciles in another state where (Ibadan) where the so-called 'crime' was committed. Tani Olohun's arrest and subsequent detention is illegal, amongst other violations and crimes committed against his person, including kidnapping which we will address in a law court.

The Commissioner of Police ilorin is culpable and has compromised (audio recording Evidence)

Ebunola Rotimi Adelesi is the name of the commissioner of Police Kwara state. On August 18th 2023, an audio recording went viral.......in the said telephone conversation, between a male caller (identifed as "Wasiu") placed a call to the Commissioner Adelesi. In the audio, Wasiu sought Adelesi's intervention or awareness about the unlawful detention of Tani Olohun. Adelesi was then heard cursing the caller, claiming that Tani Olohun once abused her on social media. 

While It is not uncommon in Nigeria for Police to compromise and circumvent the rule of law for cheap bribes, the case of Commissioner Adelesi is in fact pitiful; she is the state's first female commissioner of police and so many young girls are looking up to her. Sadly, Adelesi's judgement cannot be trusted at this point; the position of the chief law enforcement officer of kwara state is being occupied by a bias and prejudice individual. While Adelesi swore an oath of office to be impartial and administer the power vested on her without prejudice, she has done the opposite of that. Adelesi and her subordinates are being used by the islamic sect in ilorin to arrest and detain unlawfully people as they like.

Other Arrests apart from Tani Olohun's

.......The case of Iya Olosun.....a particular woman was arrested last month and detained over allegations of defamation which hasn't been proven in court of law. 

Adelesi orders the arrest and detention of innocent isese practitioners as she pleases. She's not only abusing her powers, she's also amongst those disturbing the peace. 

.....The arrest of Oluwo of Tede........ again, another Traditionalist from Tede was arrested in Tede, Oyo town, Oyo state (157Km away) for defamation of character and whisked to Ilorin just this evening. In his own video, the elderly man seemed visibly shaken and traumatized as if he had been beaten. 

The whole world will like to know if there were indeed warrants for these series of arrests & extraditions over minor civil matters and if there are no warrants, we want to know. Also, we want to know who signed those warrants. Nigerian Police force is long-due for an overhaul and if the agency's integrity must be maintained under IG Egbetokun's leadership we will know now!

Yorubaland is on the verge of religious war; this looming implosion may start from Ilorin. The attitude of the current Commissioner of Police, if care is not taken may result in anarchy! The time to intervene is now!!!

We are calling on people from all over the world to sign this petition and let the world know what is going on in Nigeria. The notorious Boko Haram that has unleashed terror on innocent Nigerian citizens are religious affiliates of those who orchestrated the arrests of traditionalists in Southwest Nigeria. They claim they're simply following the orders of their prophet muhamad who ordered "idol worshippers" killed at sight!

What we want:

Express release of all those who have been detained illegally:

   2. Oluwo Tede
   3. Iya Olosun .........and Police Service Commission's investigation into the involvement of commissioner Adelesi and her cohorts amongst other redresses we will be seeking through our legal representatives.
