Some time back, Musk and Don Lemon talked about a number of topics and one being “immigrants taking over” (note that Musk himself is an immigrant and recent news alludes to Musk having worked in US illegally in the earlier days in US, but Musk conveniently overlooks his indiscretions). 

In that interview with Lemon, he argued, on shaky evidence, that a surge of immigrants lacking permanent legal status has skewed U.S. elections in favor of Democrats.

Lemon pointed out that immigrants living in the U.S. without legal permission can’t vote and thus can’t really favor either political party.

Musk then tried to find ways to drive his point without conceeding what Lemon indicated is true because he didnt like being corrected.

In fact, that interview was part of a program Lemon was going to run on X platform but Musk felt offended that Lemon was going to fact check him and cancelled that contract prematurely.

This is the character Musk is - he cannot stand being corrected even when he is blatantly wrong.
