Some of you may have read about the mass riots in UK not long ago. This update is to highlight how one misinformed and inaccurate post by a relative unknown person (not Musk) who copied and posted elsewhere had within a few hours, the reshared post viewed more than two million times on social media (according to BBC Verify analysis).

Now imagine that had been Musk with his massive following, what that impact could be. That is precisely why I am highlighting in this campaign that someone with Musk’s influence must be even more accountable and responsible when creating or sharing information threads online.

Musk who owns a social media machinery cannot excuse himself of recklessness because one misinformation creates anger, panic, and leads to chaos which becomes costly and tedious to repair.

Freedom of speech never voided responsibility or accountability of person voicing speech. If anything, for Freedom of Speech to be respected, it must be factual and truthful.
