Music education is one of the most important tools we have to create a better society.  It can change the world in one generation, yet 7000 public schools in the US still have no music program at all.

Did you know that the implementation of music programs in our most underserved communities have lowered violent crime, racism, prejudice, and substance abuse? At the same time, it teaches our most at risk youth self-worth, empathy, community, and can overcome material poverty this way. 

The community that music programs naturally provide can be the ecosystem of relationships that define how that child perceives and receives this world. Your zip code should not determine how much hope, love, compassion, education, and security you have.   

We NEED to reprioritize learning an instrument and create a dedicated budget to ensure that all children have access to instruments and music teachers.  If you agree, please sign this petition!
