City Council Growth Committee Meetings Start Wednesday

Hey everyone - I wanted to let you know that the Mayor has not given up on trying to get this payroll tax passed. The Mayor has appointed a new "Growth Committee" of Dan Miller, Robert Billington, Johnny Bohannon, Don Elias, James Gallimore, Mike Hopkins, Jason Lovett, Jason Pittman, Richard Vanover, and Stephanie Wyatt. This committee will be meeting on Wednesday nights at 5 p.m. for the next several weeks. Here is the schedule for where they will be meeting: March 1 Council Chambers March 15 Robert O Miller (ROM) Conference Center April 12 ROM April 26 ROM May 10 ROM May 24 ROM Please get in touch with your council members and especially the people on this committee to let them know your thoughts on the payroll tax. With your help and support, it is my hope that the payroll tax can be killed in this committee.
