Pothole free, smooth roads in Mumbai & suburbs

Mumbai, one of India's richest city with its total wealth around $820 billion, is home to 46,000 millionaires and 28 billionaires. Municipal Corporation of Mumbai, BMC, is among the richest in the country !
Yet the poor state of roads and infrastructure continue to drag the development and growth of the city. Work done on the roads is shoddy, temporary, substandard and the tax-paying, law-abiding citizens are penalised or threatened, rather than their grievances attended to. RJ Malishka who dared to highlight the sorry state of roads, being threatened, is a case in point, recently.
A recent death of the biker, Jagruti Viraj Hogale , who slipped on one of the potholes during one of her rides, shows that the potholes are also dangerous to life and this issue which has always been hastily addressed before monsoons, needs deeper intervention.
This petition is to urge the
- BMC -Municipality of Mumbai,
- The ruling party Shivsena
- Devendra Fadnavis, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra ( of which Mumbai is the capital ),
- Narendra Modi ( PM of India )
- and All the other concerned authorities
to CREATE and more importantly , IMPLEMENT an urgent, long term and detailed action plan( - the same commitment & implementation as shown in Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan, and other successful initiatives of the PM's office, perhaps) to convert Mumbai to a pothole free city.
This is the minimum we- the citizens of Mumbai - require of the commercial capital of the country!!!
I would request PM Narendra Modi & the PM's office to intervene if the local authorities are not doing their task and ensure that Mumbai is counted among the top cities in the world with developed and smoothly functioning infrastructure ( including world-class roads)
