This is to urgently bring to your kind attention a matter of serious concern for all of us residents of Palam Vihar, Gurgaon

Recently there has been a development where a private mobile tower company got clearance from MCG regarding the installation of a Mobile tower in our triangular park in Block J

This is a small park where the families of residents of our block come for recreational, sports, social, and health reasons.

The ill-effects of the radiation from these towers and other health problems posed by such installations are already very well known by everybody. Despite this, no suggestion, consultation, or permission was requisitioned from the RWA or any of our fellow residents before issuing such clearances.

I would also like to point out that ours is one of the very few colonies left where you can still see a variety of exotic birds throughout the year.  

It is also home to a large number of Peacocks, our National Bird, which is a matter of pride and satisfaction to all the members of our society. In fact, there are hardly any other residential areas around here which this national treasure can call home.

Any such installations are bound to be detrimental to the beauty and sustenance of the flora and fauna that we as residents of Palam Vihar have been working tirelessly to preserve and maintain.

The health hazards posed by these structures for all the senior citizens who come to enjoy a peaceful walk, for the children who play in the park, and in fact, all the residents of our colony are indeed a matter that requires your attention and intervention.

Every single one of the house owners is 100% opposed to this idea, even if it means loss of or lack of connectivity for us. We are all forward thing people who understand that mobile connectivity is an integral & essential part of our daily life and an important requirement of mobile users everywhere. We are all in for technological advancements but not at the cost of our health and peace of mind
