With this time of the year, and some other occasions fireworks are set off to celebrate the new year. The impact this has on wildlife and domestic animals is enormous. Animals die, are traumatized, get severely injured, lost, or run over.  The banning of all fireworks is asked for, for the safety and well-being of all animals nationwide.

Furthermore its not only our domestic animals that suffer, horses get spooked,  birds die from fright and noise, wild animals run resulting in many species abandoning their young, and they themselves getting maimed or injured. 

Sadly, the animal abuse continues every year, resulting in hundreds of animals being harmed, or traumatized.  This must stop.
