As a disabled veteran 4 days prior second round of chemo in the VA hospital i also use wheeled walker do to severe arthritis My leukemia is in lymph nodes and spleen May 4th boarded a Tri-Met bus on lay over two wheelchairs also needed to board being nauseous as i was still complied with the bus driver for possibly five minutes trying to accommodate all three disabled folks AT THIS POINT i must have shown the Driver my MONTHLY BUS PASS twice if not more Finally we leave downtown 4miles out driver announced everybody get your proof of fair out as we pulled into a transit point 3 people dressed in uniforms boarded we are FARE INSPECTORS YOU MUST SHOW PROOF well don't know if my age of 61 or the steroids that screwed my emotions because of chemo just tired of authority using its power just to scare and intimidate the citizens of Portland,Oregon and metro area on a bus you show driver fare 3 inspectors to recheck 4th employee he is doing his job when driver controls entry plus 4 paid people on a bus when so many more people at one time can be checked on coupled rail cars STOP discrimination of peoples rights whom are old and disabled
