Living in Much Wenlock has been a cherished experience for generations. With its historic charm, scenic beauty,it’s not just a town, but a way of life that we all hold dear. However, our beloved town is now under threat from an unwelcome development proposal by Bonningale Homes Ltd. to construct 300 new houses off the Bridgnorth Road and from the Willey Estate who propose 61 new houses off the Barrow Road.  We are not against development but it needs to be small scale and that of affordable homes.  Our roads can not take the extra load that these developments would impose, especially at the Gaskell Corner. 

Moreover, the infrastructure of Much Wenlock is not equipped to handle an influx of new residents. The construction of so many homes will inevitably strain local resources, leading to congestion on our already narrow roads, increased pollution levels, and overburdened public services. The Town's character, which thrives on its rural attributes and peaceful atmosphere, would irrevocably change.
