REMOVE FARRAH ABRAHAM FROM MTV'S TEEN MOM FOR BLATANT RACISM & SLURS AGAINST BLAC CHYNA

On April 30, 2016, Farrah Abraham (star of MTV's 'Teen Mom OG'), wrote a shocking, disgusting, and downright racist-fueled comment on model Blac Chyna's Instagram account. Under a short video clip Blac Chyna has posted of her singing a snippet of a Beyonce song, Ms. Abraham wrote:

'F**kin monkey ewe s**t come up 4 what she is a nothing'. (See image for screen-shot).

It goes without saying that the word "monkey" has been used as a derogatory racial slur towards black individuals for over a century, it's origins well known and documented.

It's clear that Farrah knowingly left and composed this comment herself, as shortly before and after leaving the disgusting message towards Blac Chyna, she was uploading and posting photos of herself at a Trade Show and out for dinner. She has failed to apologize, or even respond to the barrage of media attention regarding this comment. At the present time she has not made any mention of her account being hacked (which would obviously be the first thing someone would do if it truly happened), so any future attempts to backtrack will be futile and not truthful.

MTV has a moral obligation to remove her as a cast member of Teen Mom, the spinoff show of "16 and Pregnant", a docu-series which featured young woman of various races and ethnic backgrounds struggle with young motherhood.

MTV has a wide variety of shows, again, featuring cast members of all ethnicities. Keeping Farrah as a 'Teen Mom' cast member is a blatant statement that MTV allows, and condones this type of offensive and harmful behavior and bullying, despite the fact the network has aired various PSA's against bullying and offensive racial and religious slurs.

Please sign and share this petition, and ask MTV to take a firm stand that they will not accept or allow employees of their network to bully and harass African Americans by removing Farrah from 'Teen Mom' and any promotional work involving their network.

Unfortunately, over the past decade there have been several other instances of TV stars making similar style comments. Fortunately, they were all quickly fired. Let's hope MTV follows in the same footsteps, and takes a stand against racism and bullying.
