The idea of trapping deer into corrals to kill them in mass numbers is a cruel and ineffective way of controlling the deer population. Deer are panicked inside of these corrals and often receive injuries trying to run, making it hard for the shooters to get a clean shot. The deer suffer.

I propose that we give all the deer a warm home.  Feed them, clean them, walk them, and love them.

If we reach our goal of three thousand signatures, I will personally adopt the first 10 deer and they will live in my backyard and in my garage (when it's too cold for them so they don't get hypothermia). Elaine has offered to take 5 herself. This way there will be a plentiful food source and the deer won't starve (like they would in the real world).

But there are plenty of deer in Mount Lebanon, so every family can adopt a deer and let them run around their yards and streets (just be careful when you are backing out of your driveways, or in low lit areas).  

Also deer love children and pets.  They know the difference between what's play and what would be deadly trampling....just ask them!

So please tell the Mount Lebanon Commissioners that you want to adopt the deer.  The only way to solve this issue and stop culling is for us all to step forward and do our part.
