Throughout our years of schooling, the class before us (class of 2018) has continuously ruined opportunities for us as the class of 2019, and while we have been patient and well-behaved in spite of it all, this is a classic nuance that is a very enjoyable part of any high school senior's senior year. We should not be punished for the actions of the immature students that came before us without being given our own opportunity to prove ourselves as the mature, dignified, and great class that we are. The ideas that many seniors, including myself, have developed in our heads for our yearbook quotes could possibly be seen by an underclassman that desperately needs some motivation, and taking away the opportunity for us to leave a legacy because of people that we don't even affiliate with is extremely detestable. We simply request the opportunity for us to partake in this traditional detail to leave one last mark on the school that raised and taught us for 4 years.
