A Home for Vulcan

A Home for Vulcan
The Issue
I went to see if I could take on Vulcan from the Mrs Murrays cat and dog home 6+ months ago. I was told I could not take on the dog as he was unsuitable for the 2 bedroom flat I lived in. I was also told he could not be rehomed with other dogs.
I am a dog trainer that is my full time occupation I also own a rottweiler so am aware of the breeds traits.
Vulcan spends his time locked in a kennel and when staff come in he is known to growl at them at which point they back off and give him a win. This will only come to make Vulcan even more unstable and reinforce what he's been taught already.
So as I said I offered to take Vulcan on and I am very confident I could have him walking with my own dog in less than an hour.
I was outright refused to be allowed this dog based on the fact their policy wouldn't allow his size in a flat ( Pretty silly if the dog gets plenty exercise ) I was then offered a Staffordshire terrier instead. This goes to show lack of understanding of breeds by the organisation considering staffies are much much more active than a rottweiler.
When all this failed and they wouldn't give me the dog for silly reasons I offered free training. I offered to come down and spend time out my day to get this dog a home.
They Refused.
Its at a point where you have to think whether these people have the dogs best interests at heart or whether they prefer to keep stock (dogs) in order to encourage donations etc.
Vulcan could have been well introduced to my home by now or even another home had they let me train him but they refused.
I would love to still rehome Vulcan.
Please sign this petition and hopefully they can change the way they assess people to take in all variables and not just base it off the amount of rooms in your house.
The best outcome would either be him being rehomed with me or allowing me to train him so he will actually get rehomed one day.
