A heinous deception campaign running over the last four and half decades has misled Soma Oindri Kundu and many others into believing that Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose lived or still lives on in the guise of a reclusive monk known as Gumnami Baba alias Bhagwanji. Generations of Indians have refused to accept the story of Netaji's death in the alleged plane crash in Taihoku on 18 August 1945 and the Mukherjee Commission has debunked the plane crash theory. There are indications that Netaji went to Soviet Union after disappearing under the camouflage of the make-believe story of his death in a plane crash but thereafter he was never seen or heard of by public at large. In all probability Netaji was held there in captivity and never liberated. The stories of Netaji's incognito life as a monk, created initially abstract and later centering an imposter, concocted with few facts, half-truths, lies, figments of imagination, delusive logic and supported by engineered evidences, false testimonies and testimonies falsely attributed to credible people after their demise, have been propagated as a part of a conspiracy to trivialize Netaji's disappearance mystery and divert public attention from the Russian trail. The Gumnami Baba theories have thrived primarily on the strength of sponsored false propaganda and recent mainstream media hype. Unless the Indian government releases all intelligence files related to the 'Gumnami Baba' case, a criminal investigation is necessary to shed more light on the conspiracy.

In this self-shot video, Soma Kundu has expressed her concern over the mystery surrounding the death of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, as a part of an endeavour by a group of youngsters from Kolkata, mostly students, voicing their demand on social media for ending the Netaji mystery. She has realized that as a citizen of India it is high time for her to rise and ask the government authorities to unravel the mystery surrounding the fate of the man who liberated India from the clutches of the British.

Historians, researchers, academicians, intellectuals, Bose-family members and Netaji followers or admirers must rise to defeat the Gumnami Baba conspiracy which not only denigrates and maligns the national hero but also impedes the uncovering of a vital piece of India's history which once revealed will play a critical role in shaping the country's future.

The Government of India must realize that it needs to clean up the mega mess created by the attempt to cover up the fate of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose with the false plane crash theory as well as the obnoxious attempt to deceive the dis-believers of the plane crash theory with the false Gumnami Baba theories as substitutes. The Government of India can neither deprive the citizens of this country from their right to know what really happened to Netaji nor let young impressionable persons be deceived in this manner. The Government of India must take necessary steps to secure relevant records from Russia and other foreign countries involved in the international conspiracy concerning the life and death of Netaji post 18 August 1945 and place the true facts before the nation. The Narendra Modi led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government must immediately shut down and completely dismantle the rogue machinery running the Gumnami Baba campaign and wreaking havoc in Indian minds. The Yogi Adityanath led Government of Uttar Pradesh must release all documents related to the proceedings of the Sahai Commission in the public domain without any further delay.
