Update: Mr Thompson handled the situation that occurred last Friday in professional manner. He did no wrong. I am sorry to everyone I spread misinformation to. As of August 26th 1:25 pm, I have received a claim from Mr Thompson that he is filing a lawsuit against me. He also said that he is pushing for Mr Huff to unenroll me at CCHS. He said and I quote that me posting a petition based off of people who tell lies all the time with no proof was a "dumb decision". He also said that I had a "snobby attitude" with him when he came up to me and asked me if I knew what bus I ride at the start of the year, further proving the statement he also made today that he has done nothing but help me. I am so incredibly sorry to Mr Thompson because obviously he has done so much to help me by doing the basic requirements of his career, like asking me if I have reliable transportation. I am very disappointed in myself because I have just turned 18 and now I am very likely to be in debt of some sort due to this pending lawsuit. He stated that the people and parents coming forward with stories about unfair treatment never professionally reported it so if anyone has any more concerns with him. I urge you to write it down, make a timeline, research the laws and student handbook and report it in a LEGAL and PROFESSIONAL manner. No more threats or insults to Mr Thompson. I have nothing to do with the threats he claimed he has been receiving but I am the one getting the heat for it.
