Don't stop the appeal against Kanchi Sankaracharyas in Sankarraman Murder Case
The Issue

Honourable Sir,
The decision by Puducherry Government to go in for appeal against the acquittal of 24 persons including Kanchi Jeyendra Saraswathi and Vijayendra Saraswathi, two Sankaracharyas, in the Sankararaman murder case should be allowed to proceed without any delay. Any effort to stall the appeal process would give wrong impression in the minds of people of Tamilnadu and Puducherry that Chief Executive of this country viz. President is intervening in the judicial process.
The family of the slain Sankararaman through this appeal, are eagerly expecting justice as also the people of Tamilnadu. The murder was committed in the Varadarajasamy Temple premise.
We once again request your goodself to kindly resist any effort by vested interests in stopping this appeal process.
