Cart before horse

Last night Guildford Borough Council approved the Local Plan for s19 'consultation' meaning that only minor changes will now be possible. Councillors have refused to obtain or scrutinise the housing need figures. In doing so they have reneged on election their election promise to protect the Green Belt.
