Private schools in Kolkata keep on hiking their fees at an alarming rate. Every year their is a significant hike which is quite illogical. The quality of education does not necessarily improve. It is becoming very difficult for us parents to cope with this exorbitant fees.

I am making an appeal to the Hon'ble Minister of School Education to look into this matter and put a check on this practice by the private schools. Basic education is a must for our children and it should not be unreasonably expensive.
