Roads in India are getting Worse. Almost every road in India has got potholes. We are trying to progress to become a Developed Nation but still Roads in India are worse.They are not particularly clean too. Roads are cracked and causing many problems to Vehicles. These roads also are the cause for Traffic and hence Pollution.But not only that, the roads are becoming dangerous too.

29 Indians die everyday due to Broken Roads.At least 10,727 were killed in traffic accidents last year because of bad road conditions like potholes, or pathways under repair, reported The Times of India.It’s really a sinking feeling to see our country’s roads in such conditions.Even in the cities the roads are not well-tarred and there is no footpath for Pedestrians to walk. A person has to walk on the sides of a road and when two or three vehicles from the opposite directions come it is quite difficult for a pedestrian to give way to the vehicles. In the middle of the road there may be a pothole where water may be stagnant, and to avoid the pothole, a car going straight may suddenly swerve to the left or to the right. The vehicle coming behind may dash on it resulting in an accident.

Good roads should be laid for the safety of the vehicles and the persons traveling in it. Good roads help avoid accidents. Water should not stagnate on the roads and if water stagnates it shows the defect in the laying of roads.Foot Paths should be laid on Roads so that every citizen is safe.

I request the council in each city to repair the roads.I also request the government Departments to oversee the roads every year after repair.
