Next weekend, the largest "Big Lick" horse show in the U. S. outside the State of Tennessee will be held at Asheville, NC.

ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA 
 
This will be the Fourth consecutive year that the Citizens Campaign has protested the “Big Lick” Animal Cruelty at Asheville, NC.    Two influential NC Congressman who represent Western NC voted “YES” for H. R. 693 to abolish the STACKS and CHAINS to abolish the “Big Lick”.  It’s time to back them up.

COLUMBIA, TENNESSEE
 
We also have a Campaign in Columbia, TN to remove the “Big Lick” Tennessee Walking Horse picture from the City Hall wall.  So far,  over 5,000 persons have signed this Petition asking Mayor Chaz Molder to “Please Do Not Enable Animal Cruelty” and  “Take The Picture Down”.
