In 2015, The University of Mississippi led the way by severing all ties with a "Big Lick" Horse Show providing a $50,000.00 a year charitable donation to the Batson Childrens Hospital at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Ole Miss told the "Big Lick" Horse Show that it would no longer accept any charitable donations from the “Big Lick” Horse Show.
